Suday Fundies: Happy and Gay!
As somewhat of a followup to my Weekly Rant (In-laws, Memorial Day, Gays, Sarah Palin, and the Antichrist), I decided to dedicate this week’s Sunday Fundies to all things gay.

Black atheists are coming out of the closet
Just like the saying, “there are no atheists in foxholes,” it is often said, “there are no black atheists.” I know my friend Reggie (The Infidel Guy), has joked about being the token black guy at atheist gatherings. He is our Lando (Chasing Amy reference). By the way, congratulations to Reggie for celebrating 10 years [...]
Lunch Break Theater: Evolution in the Classroom
Thanks to the good folks of Texas, the teaching of “intelligent design” along with evolution has been a hot topic lately. This is one of the reasons I have chosen the below video for today’s Lunch Break Theater. The other reason, because it’s awesome.

The missing animated Bible story of Jephthah
Walk into any Christian book store and you’ll find an entire section dedicated to children and teaching them God’s Word. There’s toys, games, and a plethora of Cartoon Bible stories on DVD. For some reason, the makers of these videos skip several of the more “interesting” Biblical stories.

Irish President was not shocked about abuse revealations
Irish president, Mary McAleese, said the recent report of Catholic child abuse wasn’t a shock to her.
I had a fair idea it was happening,” Mary McAleese said in an interview with state broadcaster RTE.
“I was educated by Mercy Nuns, my brothers went to Christian Brothers schools. Some of the stories that come through the Ryan [...]
Old Mother Hubbard saw Jesus in her cupboard
Look no further, Erica Conner has found Jesus:
On the same day Erica Conner listened to visiting author Don Piper give his purported glimpse of heaven from his book, “90 Minutes in Heaven,” she got her own peek into the supernatural, she said.
… she came home to find something she’d never noticed before in the wood [...]
Lunch Break Theater: Is There Historical Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus?
For Today’s Lunch Break Theater I have chosen the recent debate between William Craig and Bart Ehrman. The subject of the debate: “Is There Historical Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus?”
If you haven’t read any of Ehrman’s books, your missing out.
