I’m back from LA!
Hey friends, I’m finally back. Actually, I got back Tuesday night, but the water main to our house broke, and I have spent the past two days digging up my yard and flooding my basement.
I will post some info from my trip soon. It was quite fun, and involves Scientology, Jesus, plantains, Micheal Jackson, CFI, [...]
Lunch Break Theater: Dawkins, Tyson, Druyan, Stenger
It’s been a while since I posted an episode of Lunch Break Theater. This one features a discussion at the New York Center for Inquiry. The panel consists of Richard Dawkins, Neil Degrasse Tyson, Ann Druyan and Victor Stenger. It is moderated by D.J. Grothe.

No joke, Chuck Norris is still a bigot!
In case you haven’t heard the Chuck Norris jokes comparing him to Jesus, here’s a few:
Chuck Norris was originally considered for the part of Jesus in the Passion of the Christ. However, the director realized that Chuck Norris cannot show the emotion of pain. He can only inflict it.
Chuck Norris was the fourth Wiseman. He [...]

Another great video from That Mitchell and Webb Look featuring Abraham and Isaac:
You gotta love it. Sometimes it taks comedy to show you how silly something really is. I especially like the reference to developing morals without a god, and Star Wars references.

The Texas Board of Education wants to rewrite history
According to the Wall Street Journal, The Texas Board of Education is at it again. This time instead of biology, they are targeting American history textbooks. The board wants to make sure children understand how important faith and religion were to Americans throughout history.
Three reviewers, appointed by social conservatives, have recommended revamping the K-12 curriculum to [...]
Video: Christian Rock, The Beast, & Holy Mullets
I hate to admit it, but I used to love the band DeGarmo & Key. If you are old enough to remember, they were the first Christian Rock group to get a video played on MTV. The name of this classic, was of course: “Six, Six, Six.”
Here’s a video of DeGarmo & Key warning about the dangers [...]
