Name or Caption this Palin 2012 picture!
All the news channels are abuzz with talk of Sarah Palin’s new book. Hell, I even have talked about it here. Apparently, quite a few Americans are enamored with Palin, and she is the Republican front runner for the 2012 elections. Pondering this, and reading this morning that the new movie, 2012, is box-office gold, reminded me something hilarious my 11-year-old daughter said to me a few months back.
We were sitting in the theater waiting to watch the new Star Trek movie. The previews were running, and one of them was for the movie 2012. I had no clue what it was because its hype hadn’t begun. But, I was aware of all the conspiracy, end of the world, Mayan apocalypse crap about the year 2012. When the preview ended, my daughter leaned over to me and said, “Yep, that makes sense. Because in 2012, Sarah Palin will be elected president. And I’m sure she’s gonna destroy the world.” Needless to say, I burst out laughing. Not only because it was so funny, but because I couldn’t believe my 11-year-old was paying enough attention to the news to come up with such a great joke. Ahh, Jesus was right, “Out of the mouth of babes ...”
All of that long introduction was to help explain my motivation for creating the below picture. Please help me out by commenting with a title suggestion, or funny caption. Also, feel free to share (or tweet it). Make it viral. Besides, it has little writing in the sand that helps promote this site.

The problem I'm having here, B.R. is there are too many allusions combined in my brain. (This is my way of saying the picture is brilliant). We have the cross, Lady Liberty, noted conservative Charlton Heston, apes (our evolutionary "cousins"), nuclear holocaust….WOW.
Of course, to make it have anything to do with Ms. Palin, you need your writeup or a caption.

wow, the statue of liberty and a christian cross, could there be more of an oxymoron? i am not a Plain hater, so can't come up with a clever line. i don't like her religious views, but that's about it. all i can say is 50 generations can't be wrong: there is no jesus coming.
