Should there then be a line from "change something" back to the original question? One change might not make enough difference in happiness levels.
And should happiness be the goal? isn't pursuit of happiness part of the problem? So few people know how to be satisfied and content with what they have, hence all those assumptions that change is necessary. It might not be, unless the change is in how you view your life and its purpose.
Or I'm just rambling…
